There are many ways to check what frequency band is used by your cell phone. Here is our recommendation.
For iPhone, unfortunately, iOS system does not allow third-party app to access low-level data, but you might be able to check it in "Field Test Mode"
1. Dial *3001#12345#*, tap dial button
2. Click 'serving cell info'
3. Check 'freq band indicator';
For the Android phone, it could use the app: LTE Discovery, tap SIGNALS, check EARFCN(band number), 'DL Freq and UL Freq'. 'DL EARFCN and UL EARFCN '.

Band 2 and 5 are portions of Band 25 and 26, by the FCC regulations, band 25 and 26 are not supported by a consumer signal booster, so Sprint customers might have signal improved or not, it would depend on the locations.
